If you travel or leave town quite a bit, you may already realise that it's not always convenient (and/or possible) to take your entire collection of toiletries, skincare items, fragrances etc with you, as space is always at a premium. And especially nowadays with long-haul flights being incredibly strict toward security and the quantities of gels, creams and liquids you may take on as hand luggage.
On long haul trips I find myself having 2 toiletry bags, one for the flight - containing bare essentials to get me through night and have me looking a little less grizzly the next morning.
The following lists contain a few handy essentials and tips you shouldn't do without whilst going abroad or travelling:
Flight / Trip Bag:
For Carry-On:
-- Use a carry-on with wheels. Johnson travels with lots of heavy
magazines, so she designed the "Wendy" carry-on which is functional and
stylish. (Plus, the wheels make toting safer for your back).
-- Bring your own empty water bottle on the plane (Johnson favors Voss or
Fiji) and have the flight attendants refill it.
-- Add 1 tablespoon of chlorophyll to water to help with circulation.
-- Bring a pashmina to replace the airline blanket; it is warmer and more
hygienic.
-- Wear Thorlo socks to protect feet while going through security, or
pack them to stay warm during flight.
-- If you wear contacts, try to fly without them and only put them in
when landing.
-- Take Airborne prior to your trip to build immunity and pack more "just
in case."
-- Remember Shout Swipes for in-flight spills.
-- For relaxation, Johnson suggests Bose noise-canceling earphones and an
eye mask.
-- Try Bigelow's Mentha Lip Tint for moisture with a little color.
-- Pack the items you will use first on top in the carry-on so they are
immediately accessible.

1. Shave Gel & Razor - Try the 100ml Zirh Shave Gel Tube which leaves your skin feeling great and is half the size of a regular shaving foam tin.

3. Facial Scrub - Clear away those dead skin cells for a healthy and glowing complexion.
4. Shampoo & Conditioner - If you prefer not to use our shower gel as a shampoo or have longer hair, make sure and pack separate shampoo and conditioner.
5. Body Moisturiser with SPF - Always remember to apply your SPF moisturiser 15 minutes before going out into the sun.
6. Shower Gel - The modern man shudders at the thought of using regular soap, have a look at Radox Shower Fresh which is infused with invigorating minerals and herbs. Tags: Bags Handbags Packing Toiletry Items toiletry bags |
